Japan Mail Daily paper, Japan Daily Advertiser until 1879; then Japan Daily Mail Between 1869 and 1871, the Japan Times was incorporated into the Japan Mail weekly, 1869 twice weekly, 1880 daily
For much of its history the Mail was associated with the Japanese government. In 1917 the Mail was amalgamated with the Japan Times.
